How do I set it up?
Bake/buy your cake, and place the icing ‘reveal’ topper on top first and pipe around this with buttercream. Then apply the wafer ‘burn away’ topper floating above the icing on this buttercream before piping again around the wafer to make a false top.
Does it make a mess on the reveal topper when you burn the wafer topper away?
Most of the topper evaporates as it burns away, some small ‘flecks’ can fall onto the icing, but these can easily be brushed away. If you leave a decent gap between the wafer and icing sheets there is less likely to be any marks on the icing.
Is the wafer topper edible if some falls onto the icing?
The wafer topper is edible, so don’t worry if this gets onto the icing, in fact, unlike other companies Cakeshop wafer paper is sweetened, so when it burns it smells like toasted marshmallows 🙂
Do you have different templates which I can customise?

Do you offer only round toppers?
No, we offer round, square, portrait and landscape versions of all the designs we have available. Also each of these have different size options so that you can get the perfect topper for your bake.
