As a small business, with an excellent reputation, we are lucky enough to build strong and lasting relationships with our customers.
I have started it in my living room to fit around my kids’ school holidays. We are based in a small village Kings Cliffe.
I research my products thoroughly and use them personally to make sure that they are fit for the purpose. I care about providing good value for money.
I love the fact that wool will degrade in a year if left outside.
Carded Wool Felt 100g / 3.5 Oz of one colour
Great wool for needle felting. Also suitable for wet felting, embellishment and other crafts
Use as core wool and as finishing wool
Packaging varies. Items from Prime will be posted in plastic bags that protect wool in storage
Carded wool batting. Fibres are intermixed- making it easier to felt
A blend of sheep wools from New Zealand approx. 27 microns. It comes in a brilliant range of colours and is very easy to use. This range comes in over 100 shades please look at our other items
How to Use: Begin by roughly shaping wool as required. The more you compress your wool the less time it will take to needle felt. Place your wool onto the surface. Using the coarse needle (not included), repeatedly insert it into the wool, shaping as you go. Keep peeling your work off the foam as you go so it doesn’t get stuck. When it becomes difficult to insert the needle, swap for a finer one and continue until your work is a firm shape.
About The Felt box: The Felt Box has been selling great quality needle felting supplies at competitive prices with excellent customer service since 2010. As a small business, with an excellent reputation, we are lucky enough to build strong and lasting relationships with our customers. We offer a diverse range of needle felting products sourced in an ethical and sustainable way
Every effort is made to represent colours accurately, your screen/monitor settings will affect how it appears to you
This wool is batting NOT roving. All fibres are intermixed. If you are looking for combed tops (to use as hair or long fur) in long continuous strands look at wool rovings instead. Our carded wool will not be suitable for this. For needle felting please don’t start with Merino wool tops as these are hard to work with and can put you off
