Due to the age of the vintage Tomy Big Loader Construction Set, the tyres on the motorised chassis truck are now often in disrepair. Worn out from overuse, stored incorrectly in attics causing flat edges and overall the rubber breaking down and drying up – perishing badly.
Poor tyre condition on this toy can be devastating on its performance! The toy truck will often get stuck, unable to make turns, slip on the hopper slope and generally just unable to perform its construction duties. This toy relies so heavily on decent working tyres on its two front wheels.
Genuine replacements are not available resulting in the toy not being enjoyed. No more! These replacement tyres have been re-designed to fix the truck so it can be enjoyed by all the family.
COMPATIBLE with Tomy Big Loader, Tomy Big Big Loader and similar designs such as Thomas Tank Engine theme.
NOTE – They are NOT compatible with Tomy Post Office Loader (or similar) as the tyres cant grip enough for the second large hopper ramp.
NOTE – they do look different to the originals due to a redesign. They loop around the wheel and sit on the groove. The overall look is the same once fitted.
Instructions on how to remove the old tyres and replace them with these new ones are included. No tools required. These come as a pack of two tyres as only the driving wheels connected to the motor need a tyre.

NOTE – Due to the age of the toy and plastic often becoming brittle with age, please do ensure all other parts are working fully. The motorised chassis needs to be in good working condition to enable full circuit run. This may include removal of carpet hair from around the axis, no rubbing wheels, no slipping cogs. Ensure no battery leaks have caused corrosion on electrical contacts etc
